IN REAL LIFE

Q&A / ask a good question.

What should I do with my phone?

Save the address, then put it in your bag, purse or pocket. Ask before photographing people.

Can I enjoy Vienna on a small budget?

Start with the Wien Museum permanent collection, public streets, a neighborhood market and a short walk. Check separate exhibition and tour charges.

Is every courtyard open?

No. Residential doors, workshops and institutional courtyards have their own access rules. Public opening hours are an invitation; an unlocked door is not.

How much should I fit into a day?

One neighborhood, one anchor visit, one meal and a nearby backup. Leave space for the city in between.

Can I rely on the prices in the supplied research?

Use the current operator tariff. The old €365 annual-transit-pass figure has changed, and performance tickets vary.

Can I visit Vienna’s forests after dark?

Use the official route and gate information. Do not plan an after-hours visit to a gated reserve.

Tell me what I missed.

A correction, a neighborhood story or a place worth a closer look. I’d like to hear it.
